Single and combination bet
On November 12, 2022 by Iwan BaxterA third option for how you can place my bets is the system 22Bet Kenya. Here you also combine several games, but can allow myself one or more wrong betting outcomes, depending on the chosen system. Often used betting systems are the 3 out of 4 system bet or the 4 out of 6 system bet. It is logical that you do not have to make my bet only once, but you have to make my bet for every possible occurrence of the bet outcome.
For a 3 out of 4 bet with a basic stake of 5€ you therefore pay 4 betting series [Game A,B,C / Game A,B,D / Game A,C,D / Game B,C,D] á 5€, thus 20€. Such a form of betting is usually only worthwhile for games with odds of 1.50 or higher.
ANOTHER BET ARBITRAGE
Arbitrage betting is usually explained quickly using an example, but it is important for us to elaborate on the main points. It is certainly well known that Wikipedia is not a scientific source, but this platform aptly summarizes arbitrage:
Arbitrage is (in economics) the exploitation, without risk, of differences in rates, interest rates or prices at the same time in different places for the purpose of taking profits.
This describes all the important factors: On the one hand, it is thus important that the exploitation of the price differences (in betting these are different odds) is made without risk. A counter-argument would be, for example, tennis bets with different abandonment rules. On the other hand, it is important that the profit generation takes place at the same time. If you buy an odds and sell it later, you are trading the price trend. Only profit options exploited at the identical time are consistent with arbitrage bets.
Arbitrage betting example
A very simple example, neglecting betting taxation, will help to understand arbitrage betting in this case. We assume a soccer match where the following odds are offered on the over/under betting market:
- Over 2.5 goals: 1.75
- Under 2.5 goals: 2.50
The practiced betting eye immediately recognizes that the payout key in this betting market is well over 100% if the stakes are distributed aptly. Since not every bettor is a true mathematician and arbitrage bets usually require quick action, Wettbasis takes over the calculation of the individual stakes and winnings with the Wettbasis Surebet calculator. There, the total stake can be entered with the individual odds and the sports bettor immediately receives the individual stakes and the percentage and absolute return spit out.
In the example, a desired total stake of 100€ would be distributed as follows: 41,18€ flow into the @2,50 on 0-2 goals and 58,82€ into the 1,75 for over 2,5 goals. The payout of the winning bet is 102.94€, so after deducting the original stake, a guaranteed profit of 2.94€ can be considered as the return.
